Club Board Election! April 22 - Quorum Required!

Mark your calenders, elections for the 2010-2011 officers will be held at the regular meeting on Thursday, April 22. A quorum of club members is required, members must be in good standing in order to vote. The Nominating Committee has recommended the following:

President - Joe Ramon                         2 Year Directors
1st VP - Sandy Hightower                          Russ Hightower
2nd VP - Geoff Profitt                                 Debra Piner
                                                                     Dorothy Klein

The raising of annual club member dues will be discussed and voted on at this same meeting. Due to the increase of dues that are paid to Optimist International, the Directors have recommended raising members dues up an  to no more than an additional $10 per year. This would regular make annual club member dues not more then $65 (currently $55).

Elections and voting will take place as soon as a quorum is present, so if you are unable to stay for dinner, please show up to cast your vote, you will then be permitted to leave.

We'd like to thank members of Zone 9 for making the trip down from St Petersburg and visiting our Club at our last meeting,  March 25th. The group included 3 past Governors and our current Zone 9 Lt Governor. Making the trip were Lt Governor Jim Ridings and his wife Jane, Chuck and Vi Hayworth, Downtown St Pete Club President Garner Harshman and his wife Moonie, Clide and June Boltz.
